Sibelius Academy

The Sibelius Academy premises, both classrooms and offices, are grouped in seven storeys around the inner court facing Karamzin Park. The two lowest storeys accommodate the Academy studio facilities and an open Music Library just across the Lower Lobby.

Most of the Sibelius Academy public events will take place at the Helsinki Music Centre, in its halls specially designed for the Academy. All Music Centre halls can be used for a variety of purposes. However, the acoustics and equipment of each hall have been specifically designed to maximise audience enjoyment of different types of music. There is a hearing loop system and spaces for wheelchairs in all halls. See Accessibility.
