The five paintings by Rauha Mäkilä in the foyer of the new music centre are part of the Thank You for the Music exhibition in Kiasma on the theme of popular music and contemporary art. The 24 artists featured in the exhibition use visual art media to explore music, emotions, fans and idols – how the experiences of listening to music, watching music videos or going to a concert become an element in art.

The five paintings by Rauha Mäkilä will be on display in the foyer of the Helsinki Music Centre until 29 February, the exhibition in Kiasma will be open until 17 June 2012.
