Main Users and Number of Staff
The main users of the Helsinki Music Centre are the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Sibelius Academy.

FRSO: 99 permanent musicians, Chief Conductor Sakari Oramo, 11 other staff members
SibA: About 1,500 students, 400 teachers and other staff

Owners and organisation

 

The property company that owns the Helsinki Music Centre is jointly owned by the State of Finland/Senate Properties (48%), the City of Helsinki (26%), and the Finnish Broadcasting Company (26%).

The estimate of expenses during the construction is 160 MEUR + 20 MEUR for movables and equipment.

Companies involved in construction
The owner of the construction project is Senate Properties; construction consulting is provided by ISS Proko Oy; and the main constructor is SRV.
