Helsinki Music Centre on the Map

The Helsinki Music Centre is located in the heart of Helsinki on Mannerheimintie Street, just in front of the Houses of Parliament. The Centre's closest neighbour is the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, and the Main Railway Station is close by.

There are three entrances to the Helsinki Music Centre: one opposite Kiasma just across the Kansalaistori (Citizens' Square), one facing Mannerheimintie Street, and one in Töölönlahdenkatu Street.


Getting to the Helsinki Music Centre by Public Transport

It couldn't be easier to reach the Music Centre by public transport: The Main Railway Station and the nearest metro station are about 300 metres away from the Centre. Trams 4, 7A, 7B and 10 run along Mannerheimintie Street and stop at Kansallismuseo (National Museum) and Lasipalatsi Film and Media Centre. Several buses driving along Mannerheimintie Street stop at Elielin aukio (Eliel's Square) and Hesperian puisto (Hesperia Park).

Getting to the Helsinki Music Centre by Car

There is a drop-off and collection point at the Mannerheimintie door of the Helsinki Music Centre.

The nearest paid outdoor car parks are Musiikkitalo outdoor car park  and the Finlandia Hall car park towards Töölönlahti Bay.

The nearest free car park is within ten minutes´ walking distance from the Music Centre, in Mäntymäen kenttä (Mäntymäki Field), between the National Opera and the Olympic Stadium.

The Music Centre indoor car park will open in 2013.


The indoor paid car park opening next to the Music Centre in 2013 will have parking capacity for about 650 cars. The car park entrance will be situated in Töölönlahdenkatu Street.
