School students at Helsinki Music Centre

The Concert Hall’s stage is Finland’s largest drum – The Helsinki Music Centre welcomes schools and students to attend tours and concerts!

If you are a teacher, why not take your class on a Helsinki Music Centre tour? Our guided tours will present you the Concert Hall and its stage, which resonates like a giant drum - and has seats that resonate like the human body! At the same time, you will become acquainted with the centre's activities, architecture and its residents: Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Symphonic Orchestra and the University of the Arts Helsinki's Sibelius Academy.

The tour takes approximately 45 minutes and is free of charge to primary and secondary school students. The maximum size per group is 50, which should include no less than one group supervisor.

We mainly host tours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, starting between 8:00 and 9:00 A.M., depending on the centre’s booking situation. You can book a time by e-mail: koulut(a)
