Antonin Dvořákin sinfonia Uudesta maailmasta on aina tapaus, etenkin Osmo Vänskän johdolla. Suomen sellistilupaus Jonathan Roozeman debytoi HKO:ssa.
Antonín Dvořák opened up his senses to a new culture in America, refining its treasures into music for concert-goers to enjoy. His New World Symphony is inspired by Native American songs, negro spirituals and the humming of the prairies and remains one of the most popular orchestral pieces. Young Finnish cellist Jonathan Roozeman will be performing with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra for the first time.
