Sonore is suitable for vocal music and music theatre. The hall has raked seating, a large stage, and an orchestra pit. Capacity 206 to 278 people.

The intimate Sonore hall has fixed raked (tiered) seating. The lightning and sound equipment are best suited for vocal music and music theatre. The adaptable orchestra pit allows for either added seating or more space on the stage. 
The hall features a comprehensive lighting system, sound amplification, and a fixed video screen.

Sonore’s acoustics have been designed for vocal music and music theatre.

  • Fixed, raked (tiered) seating with 206 seats, 278 seats if adaptable orchestra pit is used, and 6 wheelchair-accessible seats
  • The pit lift can be used as an extension of the stage for seating or as an orchestra pit.

Sonore is situated on the Centre’s first floor. The hall is entered through the Lower Foyer which is accessible through the Main Lobby by the lift and stairs.

Rehearsal Hall Paavo
Rehearsal Hall Paavo is a copy of Helsinki Music Centre’s concert hall stage. This allows two orchestras to simultaneously play in the building.
